With over 20 years of editing and post production experience in the advertising and film industries, Jason brings a creative and discerning eye to every project.
Jason has assisted and learned from some of the industry's top editors. He quickly earned his own chair at Rooster in 2008.
In 2013, he went to Cossette as their Senior Editor for several years before deciding to go freelance. He has worked with agencies including FCB, Zulu Alpha Kilo, BBDO, Leo Burnett, Taxi, Ogilvy Health, JWT and many others. Jason has edited commercials for top tier brands like McDonald’s, Mini, Cheerios, Mercedes, Telus, West Jet, Tim Hortons, BMO, Ford, Canadian Tire and Jaguar Land Rover.
Along with his commercial work, Jason's editing passions have seen him explore the world of film, including editing an experimental short that debuted at TIFF in 2010. He also edited a feature film with some very famous C-list actors in 2017.
Before editing, Jason played AAA baseball in Toronto and also for Team Canada when he was 18. He graduated from OCAD with a degree in Fine Art, but still thinks he could help the Blue Jays’ odds.
